Make Time For A Romantic Destination

When was the last time you and your significant other ventured off to some far off land? How about a weekend getaway on a sandy beach? Sound familiar at all? Well, if this sounds far from reality, then maybe it’s time you prioritized your fun calendar. Granted most of us have to work on a daily basis, but we want to make sure our lives are infused with some much-needed and much-deserved R and R. It’s time to have fun again with that one you love. Don’t let the spark flicker out for good! We all know that in order to make it as a couple, time must be spent together. Shower Games Provide Fun At Your Baby Or Wedding Shower

If you go to a baby or wedding shower, you will play shower games at some point in the day. I always groan when I think about shower games, but I always end up having fun once they begin. There are some many different ones from which to choose, and no one says you can’t make up your own if you are hosting a shower. Shower games don’t have to be too complicated, and if you use your imagination, you can come up with a winner. (more…)

Staying Warm With A Space Heater

If you live in the northern United States, you have to worry about heating your home each winter. As gas prices skyrocket, many homeowners and renters alike worry about finding an affordable alternative. When it costs upwards of 400 dollars to heat a small two-bedroom apartment, you have every right to be concerned about what your heating bills might be during a very cold winter. Some people like to turn their heat down, and turn on a space heater. In many cases, they will help heat a room or two for a lot less than your gas company. (more…)

Tis The Snow Pants Season

If there is one thing that I remember from playing outside in the winter months was the huge snow pants that I had to wear when I went out. If I skipped them and just went outside in my jeans, I would be frozen, wet, and cold in a matter of minutes and would have to go back in the house to change. Though they were often cumbersome, I did get used to them, and they allowed me to play outside until my toes were frozen and I was forced to come into the house. (more…)

It May Be Time To Replace Your Sleeper Sofa Mattress

You probably already know that you need to replace your mattress and box spring on your bed about every ten years or so. It is also important to occasionally change your sleeper sofa mattress as well. This item may not need replacing as often as your regular bed but it is a good idea to periodically check it out just to be sure. (more…)

Another Look At Valentines Day

When you think of it, it is rather strange that a festival that had its origins in a pagan ritual has come to become one of the most important, commercial ventures of the modern day. And mind you, there is very little that is religious about this festival. Each year, in February, scores of young, middle aged and even old people sit up and take a look at their personal lives to cater to this festival. If you haven’t already guessed what it is, I’m talking about Valentines Day here! (more…)

Zen Alarm Clock - Waking Up The Zen Way

As a meditator, I have always faced a problem. It is important to make sure that my meditations can get as deep as possible, but I also do have plenty of other obligations on a day to day basis. If I slip too deeply in to bliss while chasing nirvana, I might not get out in time to go to work or to pick up the kids from school, or whatever else there is on my schedule that day. That is why I wanted to get a zen alarm clock to really help me out with my mediation. And I have to say that my digital zen alarm clock has done just that. (more…)

Fascination With Celebrity Weddings

I don’t get the fascination with celebrity weddings, and I don’t understand why so many people have got to know, have got to see, and can’t get enough information. I suppose because we are exposed to celebrity life so much, we are curious enough, and perhaps it is the fault of the celebrity as much as it is anyone else. Not all celebrities are media hounds, but many of them put themselves out there, and then whine about privacy. (more…)
