The Green Valley Ranch Resort - Ahhh, Just Imagine A Visit

Look at the advertisement photos for the Green Valley Ranch Resort in Las Vegas and you can not only imagine (or wish) yourself there but can imagine the place filled with classic celebrities.  At least, I can.  I see the likes of Elvis—or one of his characters, like Rick—conversing or conferring in the fabulous indoor pool room with the welcoming overstuffed chairs and matching footrests…or better, do one of his classic group songs where he sings and plays the git while the go-go girls, clad only in fringed two-piece suits shimmy around him and the shimmering blue pool.  One can also see Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, and Sammy Davis Jr. kicked back and tipping back clinking cocktails, or Wayne Newton and his entourage taking over this area of the Green Valley Ranch Resort during a break from sets in the lounge. An Authentic Football Jersey: Feel The Quality

You may be wondering whether you should buy an authentic football jersey or a replica. The price of a replica sports shirt is much less than the real thing and this may have you leaning towards buying a reproduction rather than an authentic football jersey. There are some things to consider before making a purchase. (more…)

What’s The Deal With Auto Loan Deals

When buying a vehicle, unless you are able to pay cash, you will most likely need to be getting an auto loan. Perhaps your home bank can offer you an auto loan with better rates. In fact, you may get better rates from your bank if you allow them to withdraw the payment each month from your checking account. That would be one way to consider getting an auto loan and perhaps saving a bit of money on your monthly payments. Plus, you’re guaranteed to never have a late payment. (more…)

The Search For The Best Anti Aging Treatments

I don’t think there is any person in the whole wide world who doesn’t want to continue looking young, even after they have passed middle age. Everyone, no matter how young or old they actually are, would like to look and feel young. This is not just related to the aesthetic appearance based things but also to general health and well being. Nobody likes the wrinkles and pains that old age brings with it. Which is why, anti-aging research has been the one industry where billions of dollars have been pumped in over the past few years. All of it in the quest for anti aging treatments! (more…)

The Charm Of A Pink Dress

I only have one daughter. Our relationship has had its ups and downs over the years as most mother daughter relationships do. When she was a young girl she seemed to worship me. She would spend time watching me get ready for work and would always want me to help pick out her clothes to wear. She was the kind of girl that loved to dress up. Each Sunday she would always want to wear a dress to church. Her favorite was a pink dress that complimented her summer tan and her naturally rosy complexion. Many people would comment that she looked like a doll in her pink dress and shiny black shoes. (more…)

Are You Having A Mouse Problem? Don’t Worry, You Are Not Alone

Cooler weather is rapidly approaching and my backyard is full of leaves. I was raking those layers of colorful leaves two weeks ago, when a brown mouse appeared out of nowhere. He stopped to gawk at me for a few moments and then scurried underneath my deck. I smiled, not thinking anything of where he had just disappeared to. Looking back on the situation, I realize that he may have stopped to stare at me out of some sort of joke or mockery. I had no idea that the little brown mouse had found a way into my home and was inviting his friends and family to join the festivities. (more…)

Lobster Sauce: Mmmm Good

Lobster is the king of shellfish, a pricey luxury, but so heavenly with its sweet meat and firm texture. For many shellfish lovers, a simple dressing of melted butter is all this admirable shellfish needs. For others, a succulent lobster sauce is required for the full appreciation of the dish. (more…)

Do You Own A Dog? Then It May Be Time For Dog Obedience Training

One of my best friends is a wonderful woman that is trying to parent her two children on her own. Her husband died when she was eight months pregnant with their second child. She works full time and still manages to do a great job in parenting the children. Her husband has been dead for eight years. During that time both of her parents also passed away along with the dog that she had for twelve years. Two years ago she decided to get another dog. She bought a terrier that is very head strong. When it was a puppy she talked about enrolling him in dog obedience training, but the breeder told her to wait until the dog was a year old. (more…)

Your Dog Deserves A Dog Birthday Party!

Birthday parties are fun. It’s the day your coming into the world is celebrated. The birthday celebration includes special foods, songs, a cake and attractively wrapped gifts. When we think of friends and family, we think of people. What if your loved one is a dog? A dog is a member of the family too, and as such deserves a dog birthday party, don’t you think? (more…)

What Did We Do Without A Disposable Camera?

My father has an expensive digital camera that takes the most amazing photos you could ever want. He takes it everywhere he goes and protects it with his life. It is rather annoying on family vacations when he’s being incredibly paranoid about its well-being. I completely understand his fears, but I don’t share them. Sure, I own a digital camera. I also own a regular camera. But, when I’m going someplace on a vacation and know that I’m going to be out and about, I choose to stock up on disposable cameras. Much to my amazement several years ago, I purchased one for a beach trip. I didn’t expect the photos to turn out too well, but they turned out to be very high quality. I was hooked. With having a disposable camera, I don’t worry about damaging it. I don’t worry about it being stolen. I can toss it around a bit more carelessly and pack it without taking extra precautions. Granted, they don’t take incredibly high quality photos, but I have never had a complaint about them. They even have disposable cameras that you can not only get wet but take underwater with you. I took an underwater disposable camera with me on my Bahamas trip. When the time came to swim with the dolphins and go snorkeling, I got some amazing shots. My only complaint was that sometimes the dolphins would kick up the sand with their swimming and the pictures didn’t always come out clearly. The dolphins’ playful fun couldn’t be blamed on the cameras though. (more…)
