Bedding for baby cribs can be found in numerous different designs, forms and fashions. Beddings sets usually come in sets of four or six pieces. Water-resistant flannel mattresses with quilts are perfect, as they are pliable and can be maintain without any hassles. As people do not usually buy bedding for baby cribs many times— babies outgrow cribs within two years— it is most advisable to buy bedding with a non-staining water-resistant mattress. The mattress should fit the crib very well and there should be no cracks where the baby’s arm, leg or head may get wedged or jammed. The mattress needs to be replaced when two adult fingers can be placed in the gap between the crib and the mattress. It is best to wrap the baby in a warm zipped pajama bag rather than a blanket as the latter might get twisted around the baby’s head and choke him/her.
