Mozart Piece Found in France

An unknown sheet music was found in a French Library with written notes indicating that it was from the prolific Austrian composer Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. Dr Ulrich Lessinger from the International Mozarteum Foundation in Salzburg, Austria, says although most of the music is missing, it is easy to make sense of the tune from the harmony and instrumentation.

“Even though there is not that much music on that paper as one would like in order to perform it, it still gives us important clues about his intentions,” he said.

If you wanted to own vinyl records of Mozart, kindly visit our rare vinyl records site.

Vinyl Music Records Surge

CDs have lost their value compared to vinyl records which has a rising trend due to people’s enthusiasm to simply hold their music. In simple words, vinyl has a closer relationship to music. Cd’s can easily be burned and distributed to a lot of people. But Vinyl music records are hard to come by, because of vinyl records sophisticated outlook and complicated production process.

The appeal of vinyl records to the masses increase its demand for the time being, now that the vinyl boom is attracting all sorts of attention, such as big music publishers to re-release their products into vinyl records.

Audiophiles had worship vinyl records for quite sometime; the rarest of the copies are very much well taken cared of. As the whole music industry is trying to cope with piracy issues, vinyl records are back in tip top shape to minimize the effects of piracy.

Serious Collectors of Civil War Miniatures Demand Accuracy

The point is the fantasy for them. With Civil War miniatures, however, realism is always at a premium. The major civil war toy soldier collectors will actually do historical research to make sure that their miniatures accurately reflect the regiments of the various battalions which served in the Civil War. Civil War replicas are not made for the casual collector in general. People who aren’t serious about it generally don’t get involved. My dad was extremely serious. As a matter of fact, he had one of the best Civil War miniatures collections in town. A lot of his friends were involved in Civil War reenactment, and collected replicas and authentic artifacts from that period of time, but not my dad.

What makes emeralds special

Emerald is one of the priciest gemstones in this world, but also one of the most beautiful. For generations, its alluring green has been much sought after by jewelers and gemologists alike. But besides looking beautiful, emerald also is reputed to have powers unique to it, and which are one of the reasons why it is highly sought after by New Age healers too. Also, the emerald is thought to instill law and order into your life through its regal-like green.

Emerald is believed to be a stone that is good for love and the heart. Its green corresponds perfectly with that of the heart chakra (whose corresponding color is said to be green). Therefore, it is sometimes called a “stone of love and harmony.” People wear emerald as ring jewelry because of the belief that emerald helps a married couple, especially the husband, to bond with his wife.

Emerald is regarded as a general tonifier for the body, but some healers believe that it is especially good for the heart and muscles. The finest quality emeralds have traditionally come from Colombia, although emeralds have a long history of association with humans. Want to know more about emeralds? Craft Fairs Offer Unique Shopping Opportunities

Just about everywhere in America, you’ll find craft fairs. Although these are popular spring and summer events, they are also held in more inclement weather at indoor locations. Whether you’re in San Francisco or rural Ohio, all you have to do is watch the local papers or check bulletin boards around town. Craft fairs are typically organized by community groups and are well publicized. Local artisans are invited to sign up for a booth and bring their wares. The fees for a booth are usually nominal so any one who has a craft or artsy merchandise to show may participate. These fairs attract such a diversity of talent, both the vendors and attendees have a fabulous time.

Garden Gnome

Nothing divides people like the subject of little men with fishing rods in the garden. The garden gnome is often the cause of heated debate. You either love them or hate them. There is a lot of prejudice when it comes to these garden accessories. Some people are closet collectors, not daring to admit to work colleagues of their secret shame and hiding one or two specimens behind the potting shed. Others proudly display their little family for all to see and admire.

It’s all the fault of a German called Phillip Griebel, who made the first ones in the mid-1800s. He was inspired by the local legend of gnomes who toiled in the garden at night, whilst the owners slept. Their popularity grew and they sprouted in numerous gardens across Europe. A man named Sir Charles Isham visited Germany and brought the first sample back to the UK. Today, they are still made in the traditional way, from terracotta clay but many are now produced from plastic resin.

Do You Remember Record Albums?

I have a lot of great memories of life before the age of ten. My mom was a single mother for a while, but she did a great job raising us and making us feel that all was well with the world. Some of my favorite memories were of when we would lie on the floor and watch a summer thunderstorm out the picture window in our living room, or when my mom would get out her eight track tapes or her record albums and she would dance around the room with us. I have a lot of great memories from those times, but those are two of my most treasured.

When I got into music, the record albums that my mom had were replaced by cassette tapes. You could still by vinyl then, but because cassettes were so easy to use and keep, most choose to have them instead. There were some that stuck with the record albums, but they were already on their way to obscurity by that point.
