Although they seem like an obvious idea, beer gift baskets appear to be a relatively recent phenomenon. People have been buying each other wine and spirits, sausage, cheese, flowers, and chocolate for decades, but the beer gift basket only dates back just a few years as far as I can tell. The great thing about beer basket gifts is that you can get them for almost anyone. It is pretty hard to get gift baskets for men
, because they are generally seen as a pretty feminine presents. Even if you’re getting a guy all the things he likes best – chocolate, wine, sausage, and other gourmet treats – the ribbons and wrapping might make it look a little bit too girly. A beer gift basket is another thing altogether.

I love coffee, and it would be a rare day when I was not drinking it whether I was away from home or sitting at my desk. However, I know that some like coffee for the taste, but they also need that jolt of caffeine in the morning, or as a pick me up in the afternoon. They may not have the time or inclination to sip coffee as I do, so they go for a shot of espresso to get them moving in a short amount of time. Those who don’t want to make a stop for their morning drink can often find an espresso machine to have in their home. Unlike a large cup of regular coffee, espresso has a lot of caffeine in a drink that would come in something that same size as a shot glass you would see in a bar.

A Christmas village is fun for adults and children to look at. Being located in the foyer, people look at it as they are removing their coats and boots. It is out of the way so it does not take up counter space and it is easily stored in one plastic container. This is a great idea to have in any size home because it is so compact.
I have collected a church, post office, general store, restaurant, school house and several houses. Each year I purchase something new for the Christmas village to help create the scene of a small town at the turn of the century.
Some years I buy additional people figurines to add to the scene and other years I have bought lampposts, ice skating rinks and a newsstand. This year I found a park set that has a bridge to place over a river, a gazebo and children making a snowman.
I do have Christmas trees, a Santa Claus area and a manager scene. I put these out when I set up the village the day after Thanksgiving and then I remove them after Christmas and leave the village scene up until the end of February.
Feel free to visit my article where you’ll read more details in my full article about Christmas village.
