Discrimination in employment is a big enough issue that it has provoked further animosity between different groups and even sparked legal action and introduced the concept of an Equal Opportunity Employer. Indeed, it can be extremely hurtful and offensive to be turned away from a job that you can perform just as well as the most qualified applicant solely based on an identifying characteristic that might not even have anything to do with the position. Most would agree that this is an unfair practice that should be put to an end.As heinous as discrimination in employment is, it can also be quite difficult to prove. There are tons of part time jobs for students if you know where to look. Finding the right part time student job is the difficult part, as you want to find the job that is just right for you and your schedule. There are many employees out there that are willing to take advantage of cheap student labor, so shop around and try to get the one that also helps you build your resume.
There are two main types of part time jobs for students. On the one hand you have jobs where the employer takes advantage of the fact that you are young and need short-term employment. On the other hand you have the jobs where the employer actually harnesses your skills. To get the latter type of job, you need to put more effort in, as these are in high demand and can be difficult to find. It also requires that you have a particular skill. As an example, if you are good at computer programming, you could get a part-time systems administrator or monitoring job. If you are good with people and customer relations, you could get an office counter job at a University.

Most dentists in the United States are solo practitioners. In order to work in a dental office, you must have completed at least 8 years of education beyond high school. Job prospects are good for dentists and employment projections indicate growth due to the large number of retiring dentists. Dentists undertake a number of tasks which include diagnosing, preventing and treating teeth and mouth tissue problems. They remove tooth decay, fill up cavities, do x-rays and straighten or repair fractured teeth. Sometimes, they also perform corrective surgery on gums.

Nonetheless, this didn’t go all the way to explain why I wasn’t successful in sales. I may not have been the same social chameleon, but I wasn’t exactly awkward. I had an easy time talking to customers and clients, and could make conversation on pretty much any topic. Nonetheless, no matter how many tips for sales people I read, no matter how many sales training seminars I went to, I couldn’t make my way up the ladder of success. The one thing that did it was actually spending some time out of work with the successful sales people. I definitely wasn’t one of those workers who liked to socialize with my coworkers at the end of the day.
