Finding Old Atari Games

When I was a kid, my parents didn’t have a lot of extra money to spend on toys and video games. I remember getting one or two gifts at Christmas and my birthday, but that was it. The rest of the year, I had to make do with hand-me-downs from siblings or cast-offs from friends. This seemed perfectly normal to me at the time; it’s only when I look back with an adult’s perspective that I realize how much my mom and dad really struggled to make ends meet. Now that I’m on my own and making great money, a part of me can’t help but feel nostalgic about all the things I wanted as a kid. That’s why I’ve been treating myself to all the old Atari games that my parents could never afford to buy me back then.
