How to Make Custom Free iPhone Ringtone on Mac

There are normally 2 ways that we can get iPhone ringtones from our favorite music since the release of iTunes 8. The first one is buying directly from iTunes store; alternatively, we can use iTunes to create custom iPhone ringtones, but keep in mind that all the music must have already been purchased, and after making a ringtone, we will have to pay another $0.99.

Although these two methods are convenient, they all come with fees. No one wants to pay for a song twice to get a ringtone. What’s more, some music, including the free one in iTunes or any song ripped from a CD cannot be used to make ringtones, as well as Video clips or Movies.

For Mac users, the following guide can teach you how to make custom iPhone ringtone on Mac from any song or video you like in 4 easy steps.

Step1:
Launch iPhone Ringtone Maker for Mac and Connect Your iPhone

Step2: Import a Song or Video

You can either choose a song /video in iTunes library or directly drag one from your hard disk.

The program also allows you to add Fade in/out function (up to 5 seconds)effect and pre-listen to the ringtone you made.

Step4: Export Ringtone to Your iPhone

Select “Transfer to iPhone” and click “Start”, the ringtone made will be transferred to iPhone. Click “Start” alone, the Ringtone will then be in iTunes.
Tip: Here you can rename the ringtone you made.
