Shouldn’t Parents be Responsible for Their Kids’ Online Activity?

After a 14-year-old girl committed suicide when a fictitious character with an account at Myspace “broke up” with her, a poll by Rasmussen Reports revealed that a whopping 49% of Americans questioned thought that the Internet should be regulated.

How the Internet would be regulated is a subject that can be debated for months and years ahead; however, the question remains, at what point should parents be responsible for their children’s activity on the Internet?
