The Search For The Best Vacuum Cleaner On The Planet
Anyone who has ever manhandled a vacuum cleaner knows that they come in two basic forms: the upright vacuum and the cannister vacuum. Unlike automobiles, which come out each year with sleek new looks and more tech gadgetry, vacuums don’t change much. It’s much like a pair of work boots. They are not fashion accessories, except in the case of certain brands of British work boots. Vacuums? No. A quest for the best vacuum cleaner does turn up a short list of candidates. You’d think that, while we’ve sent men to the moon (and back), performed organ transplants and have every tech communication gadget imaginable, it only seems reasonable that we’d have a vacuum that could climb the walls.
