Tinnitus:Suffering of This Terrible Tinnitus

Although tinnitus is a condition that has been known for decades, the loud society we live in seems to be making it more prevalent and severe. Many tinnitus patients report that one of the main tinnitus is exposure to loud noise.

In most cases tinnitus is self inflicted, especially with the growing popularity of devices like the Apple iPod and similar MP3 players. This trend will likely continue as such devices grow in popularity, and, to make matters even worse, almost every cell phone now is an MP3 player too.

These devices are extremely popular amongst students, sportsman and women and commuters. The last mentioned often use MP3 players as a way of passing the time and masking some of the noise and clutter that surrounds them when they are commuting.

However, the volume levels increase to damaging levels because trains, buses, and traffic are so loud, tinnitus also appears.

Drugs, including pills, which we take and are prescribed by doctors, can also be the cause of tinnitus. This can lead to Meniere’s Disease.

Most folk don’t even know about tinnitus and how debilitating it can be until they already have it, at which time it is too late obviously!

So it is my opinion the best tinnitus cure is education! Talk to your children about drugs.
